Who we are.

Synergy Fundraising is a full-service fundraising agency dedicated to delivering great service and amazing outcomes. Launched in 2018 we've grown into a small team that's passionate about fundraising and making the world a better place.

The Role.

We're looking for an Account Manager to give new and existing clients an incredible experience.

You'll work with one of our Account Directors to execute fundraising campaigns of all shapes and sizes to the likes of Vision Australia, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, The Royal Flying Doctor Service - QLD, The Australian Conservation Foundation, The University of Sydney, McGrath Foundation, Taronga Conservation Society, Wayside Chapel and many more.

You'll work with and for some of the most talented fundraisers in the country.

You can be based anywhere in Australia as we spend all of our time working at home or at our client's offices.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

You'll need:

  • To be comfortable assessing and creating content (both written and digital) and you’ll need to have an analytical mind to make data-driven decisions.
  • To provide world-class customer service to our clients – You’ll have to be happy to pick up the phone and have some challenging conversations now and then. As a smaller agency, we’ve built our reputation on providing incredible service and great outcomes.
  • To offer support to our Account Directors to allow them to focus on bigger opportunities for our clients.

Experience Required - You'll need one or more of these.

  • Fundraising experience (especially in Individual Giving Programs)
  • A VERY strong background in Account Management.
  • A background in Direct Marketing.
  • The ability to create or critique content (copywriting/design skills)

Skills Required

  • We need you to be somewhat tech-savvy. We use technology every day and you’ll need to be super comfortable with PC-based software, mobile devices, and social media.
  • You’ll need to be organised and manage your time well without oversight.
  • You’ll need excellent communication skills.
  • You’ll need to be honest and transparent in your interactions with your teammates and our clients.
