Right now, we’re seeking a Program Lead – Education who will play their part in this shared purpose while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. That’s gratifying work that will help us continue to deliver life-critical services where it matters.

About the role

The purpose of the Program Lead – Education is to lead a number of significant road safety education programs and projects and contribute to the delivery of the Victorian Road Safety Strategy and Action Plan.

Success in the role will see you plan, develop, implement and evaluate a number of significant education initiatives as a part of the TAC’s evidence-based whole-of-school community approach to road safety. This will be achieved by working closely with key stakeholders, including schools, local government, the broader Victorian community, and the TAC’s Victorian Road Safety Partners. Experience in developing community education programs and projects will support the successful candidate in this role.

About the Team

The Program Lead - Education is part of the Education and Community Programs Team within the TAC’s Road Safety Division. Working alongside a team of passionate road safety, education, and community program specialists, this role will allow you to collaborate with your dynamic and experienced colleagues while allowing you to work autonomously to achieve your business outcomes.

What we’re looking for

Experience with Community Education Programs

  • Relevant qualifications and work experience in program development, management and evaluation
  • Relevant experience leading the development of state-wide education, youth or community programs
  • Experience and understanding in using evidence to inform and evaluate programs
  • Relevant experience with project and contract performance management
  • Relevant experience and understanding of the Victorian education system

Strong Stakeholder Engagement and Management

  • Experience influencing, engaging and negotiating with experienced external stakeholder groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in a clear, concise and professional manner

Passionate About Road Safety

  • Deep understanding and passion for the TAC’s mission, purpose and vision in the Victorian community
