Applications are invited from Aboriginal people wanting to work in a new and dynamic land and sea management program in the Furneaux / tayaritja region of Tasmania. Positions include Lead Ranger and Crew Ranger. At least two full-time Crew Ranger positions and extra casual positions are available.
Previous land management experience is desirable but not essential. A current driver’s licence is required.
The positions are full-time, but hours may be negotiable. Salary will be negotiated at over $50,000 per annum for Crew Ranger and over $62,000 for Lead Ranger. Casual positions receive a loading on the hourly Crew Ranger rate.
