The National Futures Initiative is dedicated to creating the opportunity, time, and space for Australia to thoughtfully envision and actively work towards a more equitable and just future.
Seed-funded for five years by the Paul Ramsay Foundation, this initiative is grounded in extensive research, including a comprehensive review of over 170 projects, and collaborative design work with Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME) to integrate Indigenous knowledge at its core. Our goal is to foster transformative experiences that spark meaningful dialogue, strengthen communities, and drive systemic change.
The National Futures Initiative is seeking an experienced and passionate Creative Event and Experience Producer with strong project management skills to bring this innovative, transformative model to life across multiple locations in Australia.
This role is part-time (0.6FTE) will involve travel across Australia, with extended periods of travel during key activation phases.
As part of this role, you will collaborate with a broad range of partners to coordinate a variety of engaging events and experiences including community dialogues, interactive workshops and immersive exhibitions. You will be responsible for continuously refining and evolving the approach, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful.

Desirable - Qualifications or relevant experience in a related discipline such as Design, Event Management, Curation, Hospitality Management, Theatre production or Communications.

This role will have no direct reports, instead you will leverage the strengths and knowledge of the entire ‘network’ and the focus of the work will be working alongside the following people:
You will have the opportunity to work across and provide support to the TACSI network, across the various change units, including; System Initiatives; Consulting and TACSI’s Learning Hub.
Additionally, all TACSI staff are matched with peers who form a “circle of support” who will ensure that you are adequately supported and growing your capability and confidence at TACSI.
The role holds financial responsibility as aligned to the TACSI Delegation Framework. The individual will be responsible for ensuring all expenditure and acquittal of receipts in line with TACSI Policies.
