Who is Take Two?

Take Two is a state-wide, trauma-informed therapeutic service supporting infants, children, young people, and families impacted by trauma, neglect, and disrupted attachment. Operating under Berry Street, Take Two collaborates with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, community service agencies, and research institutions to deliver intensive intervention programs and drive best-practice approaches in the sector.

The Opportunity

As a Clinician, you will:

  • Carry a case load of clients who are at various stages of the episode of care, such as assessment, treatment and closure. Therapeutic work can range from short to long term.
  • Conduct assessments and develop therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model, with clear goals that are reviewed regularly.
  • Work in a systemic and collaborative manner with the client, family and the care team to achieve the goals within the specified time frame. 

We are looking for a passionate and values-driven Clinician with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. A post-graduate degree is preferred.
  • Experience conducting trauma and developmentally informed clinical work with children and young people.
  • Passion for being strength based and trauma informed.
  • Experience in Child Protection and Out of Home Care sector.
