About the Role…
The role of Middle Donor Fundraiser will develop strategic and operational activities that drive and deliver The Taronga Foundations Middle Donor income stream, as part of the Major Gift program. You will have the opportunity to work with some fantastic existing supporters and also acquire new donors to support our groundbreaking conservation work.
Key Accountabilities…
- Drive the development and growth of the middle donor program.
- Develop relationships with existing supporters to deliver multi year, repeat and increased value donations.
- Research opportunities to engage new middle donors and build relationships, working closely with the direct marketing team and Major Gift Fundraisers.
- Maintain accurate records on the CRM database of all contacts with middle donors and prospects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders both internal and external.
- Responsible for Gifts in Wills conversations with middle donors to increase the number of confirmed bequestors.
- Communicate Taronga’s conservation messages both internally and externally, ensuring all communications align with Taronga’s values to inspire change in accordance with Taronga’s vision and strategic pillars.
- Comply with and suggest sustainability practices in the workplace to help achieve Taronga’s sustainability targets and reduce environmental impact.
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in fundraising, ideally in a similar role.
- Hold a current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised, including manual.
- Hold a Working with Children Check
