Based in Toowoomba with offices in Ipswich, Goondiwindi, Roma, Hervey Bay, and Gympie, Tasc National (Legal and Social Justice Services) provides a broad range of services including legal advice and advocacy support to clients across the greater southern Queensland region.

As an HR Adviser with Tasc, you will lead the people roadmap and strategy, overseeing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment and onboarding, providing timely HR/ER advice and championing HR and wellbeing best practices.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you will identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and drive a positive workplace culture across the organisation.
Note: This is a stand-alone internal HR role, working closely with the CEO and Management team, and supported (as required) by an external HR consulting team.
You are a skilled and adaptable HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take on a new challenge in an exciting new internal HR role within a purpose-driven environment. With a solid understanding of employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and the SCHADS Award, you provide practical and solutions focused HR advice to managers and employees.Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively allows you to navigate complex people matters with confidence.
You have experience managing multiple HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to compliance and performance management. Passionate about creating a positive workplace culture, you are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organisational success.
You will be based in our Toowoomba office, but regular travel to Ipswich will be required, as well as occasional travel to our remote office locations.
This position is initially offered at L5 of the SCHADS Award. Salary packaging is available.
