About the role

This is an exciting new opportunity to join a dynamic company secretariat team that supports a purpose-driven Board of Directors. The role will support the Manager, Corporate Governance and Sustainability and work directly with the Company Secretary to deliver exceptional support to the Board. Duties

  • Manage the preparation, coordination and distribution of Board and Committee agendas and papers
  • Support and advance corporate administration
  • Provide calendar and general support to Board Directors and support the monitoring of probity and screening checks
  • Support the Legal team with a range of administrative and support tasks

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a legal secretariat or board-related role
  • Preferable to have experience using the Diligent platform
  • Ability to be proactive, multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines where attention to detail is critical
  • Professional and personable approach to supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn the diverse range of businesses and areas of law applicable to The Benevolent Society
