Our Organisation

The Benevolent Society’s vision is to build a just society where all Australians can live their best life. For more than 200 years we have supported people at the margins of society: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians; children, young people, and their families; older people; carers and people with disability. We are an independent, non-religious service provider which supports people to live life their way.

As part of The Benevolent Society's vision, we are strongly committed to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia. We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting the economic, political, and social inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

About the role

Join a dynamic, committed Impact Data & Evaluation team who are passionate about supporting staff across Benevolent’s Child, Youth and Family programs, while being integral in initiating and implementing strong data management systems across our programs, helping to train and upskill our frontline practitioners, and liaise with key stakeholders across government and non-government bodies.

You will support our teams to be proficient in best practice principles when capturing and recording the excellent work being delivered on the ground and working closely with our management teams to remediate data when needed.

Working collaboratively with non-government and government bodies, you will reduce barriers by providing a conduit between our staff and funding bodies, ensuring that we capture accurate data that demonstrates the high quality of our work, how we meet KPI’s, and intended outcomes of programs. You will work closely with our internal IT team to provide a bridge between on the ground practice, and technical support, and provide regular training and support through virtual and face to face sessions in our various data base systems.
