Tweddle is leading the way within the Early Parenting sector offering a range of early parenting programs to families who are experiencing difficulties with parenting their children up to school age.

About the role

A unique opportunity exists for a Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder to use their skills and experience to make a difference in an organisation that is expanding.

As the Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Timely submission/management of the following data sets to the DH and DFFH
    • Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset (VAED)
    • Agency Information Management System (AIMS)
    • Integrated Reports & Information System (IRIS)
  • Timely and accurate clinical coding
  • Clinical coding education
  • PICQ
  • Auditing [medical record and coding]
  • Management of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
  • Performance and activity reporting
  • Data quality control reports
  • Data set reconciliation

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent/recognised Clinical Coding Certification
  • Experience in clinical coding
  • Knowledge of Australian Coding Standards/ ICD10AM 12th Edition
  • Experience with DH statutory reporting
  • Knowledge of the VIC DH business rules & admission policy
