SUMMARY

The Community, Engagement, Support and Employment (CESE) Department works to support and facilitate the engagement and learning journey of people who may have significant barriers to engaging in formal education, skills training and employment. The CESE department improves the employability of our learners/clients by connecting them to employment opportunities and support them to achieve and sustain long-term employment.

This position will support the Reconnect Program, a Victorian State Government funded program that supports learners and clients by improving a person’s chance of breaking the cycle of disadvantage by creating equity, improving access and increasing choice in pathways through education & employment.

Reconnect assists participants to overcome the barriers preventing them from engaging in education, training and employment. Provides support into study or employment pathways.

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Providing Learner/Client support
• Undertake assessments and referrals
• Case Management
• Relationship Management with Employers and Key Stakeholders
