Therapeutic Guidelines Limited is an independent not-for-profit organisation that was founded by leading members of the healthcare community over 40 years ago. Therapeutic Guidelines Limited aims to promote the quality use of medicines, and it does this by publishing Therapeutic Guidelines and Australian Prescriber.

Therapeutic Guidelines is a widely used and highly regarded point-of-care clinical reference database covering over 2500 diagnoses. Australian Prescriber is a free, evidence-based journal that covers a broad range of topics addressing the intersection of quality use of medicines, diagnostics, and pathology.

With the recent growth in our organisation, an opportunity now exists for a Digital Marketing Associate to join a dynamic marketing team, reporting to our Digital Marketing Manager.

The Candidate

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled individual who thrives at supporting the implementation of marketing strategies and plans. As the ideal candidate, you will be creative, innovative and have a strong attention to detail. As a digital professional you will also be skilled at implementing dynamic digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Attending conferences throughout the year and representing our organisation at these events is also part of the job’s remit.

You will bring to the role intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Office, One-Drive and SharePoint, WordPress or PowerApps, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Mail Chimp, Google Analytics 4, Photoshop, and InDesign, Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads. Overall, you strive for best practice outcomes and continuous improvement.

We are seeking someone who also:

  • Has well-developed project management and planning skills.
  • Has experience with SEO and applied analytical skills.
  • High level communication (written and verbal) skills and time management skills.
  • Has high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Effective campaign tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with eDM’s and data management for a large audience subscriber list.
  • Experience with website updates
  • Content writing (i.e., eDMs, news articles, etc)
  • Can work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Exercises independent judgement and takes initiative.
  • Is courteous and respectful in all dealings with others.
  • Is loyal, trustworthy, reliable and has a high work ethic.
  • Has a flexible approach to work with a “can do” attitude.
  • Is committed to quality excellence of work.
  • Can follow procedures and show enthusiasm in learning new systems.
