Think Change Resolve (TCR) is a strategic consultancy supporting organisations across the health, human services, education and social justice sectors. We offer high level consulting services that are ideas driven and evidence based. Our work includes the translation of research and evidence into policy, strategy and program development, evaluations and reviews, and organisation and governance development.
The role
We are recruiting a consultant with strengths and potential in research, analysis, problem solving, working with diverse groups of people and information management. Consultants are responsible for supporting managers and directors with project delivery, designing and conducting analyses, participating in client meetings and interviews, and creating presentations and deliverables.
This is an entry level role, and our ideal candidate will usually have up to 3 years relevant work experience. We are looking for a person who has an interest in social and environmental issues and working towards a better, fairer, more sustainable and inclusive society.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to consulting projects by undertaking analysis and synthesis of existing reports, policies and data, including:
- quantitative methods: for example, sourcing and analysing publicly available quantitative data (e.g. ABS or specialist agencies such as AIHW); also design, collect and analyse quantitative survey data
- qualitative methods: for example, writing focus group or interview guides, conducting focus groups or interviews, analysing focus group or interview findings.
- Summarise and present analyses, key findings, and recommendations to contribute to client-ready reports and presentations.
- Work in a team to develop project deliverables, including preparing reports and recommendations to clients
- Be able to self-manage including seeking out all necessary information about the wider context of tasks, managing competing priorities as well as ensuring work is delivered on time to the highest quality.
- Capability to liaise with clients and maintain client relationships and engage with people contributing to our work as experts, community members or otherwise.

- Dedication to producing high-quality output with integrity and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS suite of products
- Proficiency in designing quantitative data analyses, and/or experience in data analysis, data visualisation (desirable)
Qualifications and experience
- Up to three years experience in a relevant field such as research, government, community or consulting work
- Tertiary qualifications in one of the following areas: social or health sciences, community development, law, economics or a related discipline
- Experience working in the health care, human services, education, environment or social justice sectors is also desirable
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques is a plus
What we will offer you
We offer consultants a starting salary of $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience (plus superannuation and an annual profit share that includes all employees).
We are also open to hiring a senior consultant with salary commensurate to experience.
