About the program

The LGBTIQ+ Mental Health & AOD Workforce Development (LGBTIQ+ MH WFD) Training Program is a Victorian State Government-funded initiative aimed at addressing inequities in mental health outcomes for the LGBTIQ+ community. This state-wide train the trainer program is designed to enhance the capacity of the mental health and AOD workforce to deliver culturally safe and inclusive services.

About the role

Working closely with the Training and Capacity Building Team Leader and Senior Trainer, this position will provide event and logistical coordination of training events, manage our training database and liaise with training participants, clients and internal and external stakeholders in support of a coordinated evidence-based state-wide training program. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth planning, organisation, and execution of training programs, managing communications with stakeholders, and maintaining essential documentation.
