About the role

This position is a dual role to fulfil effective reception duties and administration assistance to both the Head Office and Therapeutic Services teams, underpinning ‘front of house’ services for clients, staff, volunteers and other programs. It also requires the capacity to work collaboratively with other agencies in order to achieve the best outcomes of services delivery to our clients.

This position is also responsible for providing reception and administrative support services to the Thorne Harbour Health medical and allied health teams that consists of Medical Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, a Dietitian and Peer Test Facilitators.

These services are operated across two sites currently based in St Kilda and Abbotsford. The successful applicant will be assigned to work across both sites at different times depending on service needs.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the complex barriers that our clients face in accessing quality health care and sexual health screening. Our services cater to TGD&NB, Gay, Bisexual and MSM, HIV positive and LGBTIQ+ communities.
