Thorne Harbour Health is currently seeking a suitably qualified and skilled financial counsellor, passionate about supporting the well-being of our LGBTIQ+ communities.
Combining passion, commitment and activism, Thorne Harbour Health aims to improve the health and wellbeing of our LGBTIQ+ communities and of those living with or affected by HIV.
The Financial Counselling team at Thorne Harbour Health (THH) provides vital support to LGBTIQ+ communities experiencing financial hardship, housing insecurity, and economic inequality.
The Financial Counsellor will play a crucial role in delivering free, confidential, and non-judgmental financial support to LGBTIQ+ and HIV+ individuals facing financial hardship. While the primary focus is on rental and mortgage stress, the role also offers tailored financial advice, advocacy, and empowerment strategies to help clients manage debt and navigate financial challenges related to family violence and AOD issues.
