Threadlet is how businesses will reach net zero while increasing their bottom line. Our software helps businesses manage all their electricity, gas and solar in one place.

We’ve started with retail energy and have big plans to roll out products to help businesses reach net-zero energy costs and net-zero emissions.

We manage our client’s energy, so we're looking for a driven team member to join our fast-growing team in operations. If you're someone who likes the idea of rapid learning and rapid growth while doing good, you've come to the right place.

• You’re not excited about helping small businesses. The nice thing about Threadlet is you work with small and large businesses everyday to help them succeed. You’ll have way more fun if you’re passionate about helping small businesses across Australia.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Work closely with founders to help run day-to-day operations of the business. This includes sourcing energy contracts, comparing pricing, working with clients, and the sales team.
• Help us test and operationalise our solar product when it launches.
• Run basic pricing analysis/comparisons in spreadsheets.
• Push for continuous improvement with our internal tools. If you’re product-oriented this is a great way to get experience in product development too.
• Develop the skills and experience to transition to an Operations Manager role.

WHO YOU ARE

• Someone who cares about making people’s lives better with more sustainable, cheaper energy.
• You’re comfortable with Excel and spreadsheets.
• Python experience is desired but not essential.
• Someone with operational experience, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry. Experience in the energy industry is also desirable but not required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong understanding of technology.
• Self-starter and has an ownership mentality - always striving for continuous improvement. When you see an opportunity, you jump on it and take ownership of the outcome.
• Comfortable in situations where negotiation is required.
• Excellent prioritisation skills; the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• The motivation to develop your operations acumen and learn more about the energy industry.
• Confident working in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for decisions that influence the direction of the company.
• You’re detail-oriented. You pride yourself on sweating the small stuff.
