Thylation Foundation is seeking an exceptionally well-organised and well-connected General Manager with a passion for conservation.

Thylation’s goal is to become a world-leading developer and provider of conservation innovations. Together with Thylation Commercial, Thylation Foundation is an Australian charity operating at the interface of engineering design and applied conservation. Our Felixer, which humanely controls feral cats to protect threatened species, is used across Australia and we have other exciting conservation tools under development.

Thylation Foundation has recently achieved DGR status and are now seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to manage delivery of our Strategic Plan, including building sponsorships, philanthropic partnerships and brand recognition to help address urgent conservation needs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We’re looking for a General Manager to lead the day-to-day management of the charity, report to the CEO and be responsive to the Board of leading innovators, NGO managers and ecologists at 6 bi-annual Board Meetings and an Annual General Meeting.

You will need to be outcome-orientated, self-motivated and have the skills to coordinate strategic access to donors and raise the profile of Thylation through enhancement of our website and media presence.

Ideally you will have experience in sourcing philanthropic and grant support, reporting to donors and reaching new audiences with strategic social media campaigns.

Your key KPIs will be to build our fundraising from $600K to $2M per year, while ensuring effective governance to enable Thylation Foundation to deliver our planned tangible conservation outcomes.
