Are you passionate about wildlife conservation and eager to kickstart an exciting career in invasive species management?
Do you thrive in the great outdoors, love hands-on work, and want to be part of a dynamic, growing team? Timberscope is looking for multiple enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our expanding field operations crew!
As a leading wildlife management enterprise, we provide ethical and effective solutions to vertebrate pest issues across Australia. Due to our rapid growth, we are offering multiple entry-level positions for driven individuals who want to make a difference in environmental conservation through responsible and humane invasive species management.
If you have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow within a company that values its people, this is the opportunity for you!
This role is based on the Mornington Peninsula, so applicants must be local or willing to work in the area.
We are seeking motivated team players with a deep commitment to wildlife conservation, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities. Ideal candidates should embrace challenges, adapt to diverse weather conditions, and demonstrate responsible firearm use for vertebrate pest management. The ability to work both independently and within a team, along with self-reliance and a proactive attitude, is crucial.
This role is perfect for those who are passionate about learning, eager to develop their skills, and looking for a company that supports career growth. On-the-job training is provided, and we encourage internal progression!
You’ll gain hands-on experience in various pest control methods, including fencing, habitat modification, trapping, shooting, relocation, and poison baiting. Every day brings new challenges and the opportunity to develop expertise in a range of wildlife management techniques.
Timberscope is committed to humane and ethical pest control solutions that enhance biodiversity, support agricultural sustainability, and achieve asset management goals. Our work primarily focuses on managing species such as foxes, cats, rabbits, and other invasive vertebrates.
We value environmental stewardship, humane pest management, and cultural sensitivity, including the protection and respect of Indigenous cultures. If you are eager to take on a role where you can grow, contribute meaningfully, and make a real impact, we encourage you to apply!
We are a family-friendly organisation that promotes learning, career advancement, diversity, cultural awareness, and gender equality.
