Together Queensland, the branch of the ASU, represents approximately 30,000 members across the Queensland Public Sector, Queensland Health, and various private sector industries and employers throughout Queensland.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the workplace and advocating for employee rights? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our industrial team as a Trainee Industrial Officer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of triaging incoming contact from our members and supporting their workplace needs.
Successful candidates will have a strong interest in advancing both worker and civil rights in Queensland and excel at building rapport quickly through various digital mediums, including engaging in persuasive conversations.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for improving workers’ lives. If you have experience or transferable skills in advocacy, policy, human resources, social work, or community engagement, we encourage you to apply.

This position is based at our South Brisbane office and may involve occasional travel within Queensland.
