Toolbox Education takes evidence-based psychological tools and proactively teaches them to school students through fun, relatable and engaging workshops. We are a young, emerging social impact organisation that is passionate about equipping the next generation with the tools to not only manage life's challenges but to build a better life. We run workshops in schools for students in years 1-12, staff, and parents, teaching them tools from the best evidence based psychological therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT). Established in 2021, we now work with close to 200 schools.
Role Description:
We are looking for someone to help build Toolbox Education’s presence in NSW, starting in January 2025.
This is an exciting and multi-faceted role, perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills. In this role you will be responsible for growing Toolbox's presence in schools across metropolitan Sydney. The primary focus of this role will be driving new bookings and developing relationships with school contacts. The perfect candidate will be someone who loves building strong relationships, is a self-starter and ideally has a background in education, psychology, or business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end business development process with prospective schools to bring them on board, including:
- Developing marketing initiatives and campaigns, as well as cold email and calls to set up meetings with prospective schools
- Maintain relationships with client school contacts to ensure the effective running of the program and grow school programs
- Run Parent and Staff workshops, as well as attend networking events to drive new business

- Is highly motivated and personable
- Possesses strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with school staff, principals, and other stakeholders.
- Has a passion for mental health education and making a positive impact on school communities.
- Is proactive, results-driven, and experienced in B2B sales, particularly within the education or mental health sectors.
- Has familiarity with evidence-based psychological tools and programs, such as CBT, DBT & ACT is highly advantageous.
- Is able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and are driven by the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organisation that fosters positive mental health outcomes for students, staff, and parents.
- Has a strong understanding of the New South Wales education system and relevant contacts within the sector would be a significant asset.
