Tradeswomen Australia is seeking a dynamic and strategic Workplace Diversity Manager - Clean Energy to lead the delivery of the Transforming Gender Equity in Clean Energy Apprentices project. This groundbreaking initiative, in partnership with Future Energy Skills and other key stakeholders, aims to drive systemic and cultural change in the clean energy sector through gender-transformative practice.
You will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of activities such as a Gender Impact Analysis, workplace transformation toolkits, and activities that support the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women in electrotechnology apprenticeships across VIC and TAS. The successful candidate will work closely with TAFEs, Group Training Organisations, employers, and apprentices to embed equity-focused practices across the workforce.

The Transforming Gender Equity in Clean Energy Apprentices is a nationally significant initiative designed to address barriers preventing women from entering and thriving in clean energy careers.
The project, led by Future Energy Skills, is a collaborative effort between Tradeswomen Australia, NECA, NECA Education and Careers/GTO, Bendigo Kangan, TasTAFE and Busy at Work with funding from the Federal Government Department of Education and Workplace Relations through their Building Women's Careers Initiative.
The Workplace Diversity Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Project aimed at increasing women’s participation in clean energy careers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in workplace culture change, gender diversity and inclusion. Experience in male-dominated industries, vocational education, or workforce development will be highly regarded. TWA's existing people and skills will support and compliment the successful candidate.
This is an opportunity to lead a landmark change project that forms one of 20 key Building Women's Careers projects funded by DEWR that will set the benchmark for diversity and inclusion across the trade workforce.
