We are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing client-centred therapy services, offering individual support both at home and within community environments.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support and promote the well-being, independence, and participation of clients in their chosen activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client-Centred Care: Provide individual therapy support tailored to client goals, using evidence-based practices and a person-centred approach.
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop intervention plans, and evaluate client progress towards goals.
  • Therapy Delivery: Deliver Occupational Therapy services in home, centre, and community settings, promoting functional independence.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside other healthcare professionals and contribute to holistic care delivery.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development and evaluation of therapy programs that meet client needs.
  • Discharge Planning: Assist in discharge planning, ensuring appropriate referrals to other community programs when necessary.
  • Documentation: Complete accurate and timely documentation in line with organisational and professional standards.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary team setting and a strong understanding of person-centred care.
  • Advanced clinical skills in managing caseloads and developing treatment plans.
  • Well-developed time management and prioritisation abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or relevant registration for vulnerable people).
  • Driver's License (if applicable).
  • Willingness to travel throughout Victoria and Tasmania as required.
  • Vaccination as per the workplace vaccination policy.
