What you can expect working at the Trans Justice Project

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of trans justice campaigning in Australia. The Trans Justice Project is a team player, helping to support the broader movement for trans justice to be as effective and powerful as it can be. We value solidarity and bringing people together around a shared vision for change.

We are aiming to build a workplace that prioritises healthy relationships, learning, and personal growth. One where we treat each other with respect, where people work reasonable hours, and we take the time to do things well.

You will not be expected to work evenings or nights unless there are events that require your attendance. This will rarely happen in your role and will be communicated ahead of time.

We are happy to be flexible around when you work your hours during the week provided that you are available for a set number of hours regularly on a Monday and Tuesday. This may make the role well-suited for people with small children, who are working another job, or who need to manage a chronic illness.

We offer an award salary, 12.5% super, and two weeks [to be extended in the future] paid gender affirmation leave that can be accessed at any time.
