About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Events and Partnerships Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and marketing face-to-face educational events across the country to generate leads and enhance brand awareness in local communities. You will play a critical role in increasing our reach within target audiences by organising impactful events that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a proactive and energetic individual with strong organisational skills and a passion for event management and marketing.
Job Description:
- Plan and Coordinate Events: Arrange venues and manage logistics for small educational events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly from inception to execution. This includes selecting venues that attract our target audience and liaising with venue managers to optimise all elements of the event.
- Develop and Execute Event Marketing Strategies: Create and implement effective marketing strategies to promote events through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and partnerships with local clubs and organisations, ensuring maximum attendance and engagement.
- Lead Generation and Acquisition: Focus on lead acquisition through sustained local presence, education, and brand awareness efforts.
- Research and Outreach: Identify and research potential event locations using existing communication channels, aligning with community advocacy groups, social clubs, and existing calendar events to optimise reach and budget.
- Build and Maintain Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local venues, community groups, and potential co-presenters. Negotiate opportunities for co-branding and sponsorships to enhance event marketing and attendance.
- Manage Event Logistics and Materials: Oversee all logistical elements, including scheduling, event setup and preparation of branded collateral.
- Ensure Effective Communication: Prepare concise presentations that align with our brand standards for our sales team to deliver. Manage RSVP process, send pre-event communications, and conduct post-event follow-ups.
- Evaluate and Report on Event Success: Collect feedback and analyse event metrics to assess performance against key success measures, including lead generation KPIs, using insights to refine future event strategy.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Organisational and Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring efficient use of resources and time.
- Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop innovative event concepts and marketing strategies tailored to our target audience and objectives.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unforeseen challenges with a positive and solution-focused attitude.
- Experience in Event Management and Marketing: Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or marketing, particularly in educational or community settings, is highly desirable.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM systems, social media platforms, and event management tools to track performance, optimise communication, and streamline processes.
Salary and Benefits:
- $70,000 - $80,000 per annum + super based on experience.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Current federal police clearance (not more than 12 months old) and international police check if you have lived overseas in the last 10 years.
