The position

The Systems Coordinator is an expert in early childhood education & care systems and will provide strategic and operational business proficiency across the whole Sparkways Early Learning portfolio. They will lead projects and share data and insights that will shape service administration and service delivery approaches. The role will further develop and implement robust, user-friendly administration and data management systems.

Your day to day

  • KIM system and School Readiness Funding management: ensure the DET KIM system data is accurate, up to date and maximising the organisation’s revenue opportunities and provide leadership and support to the Early Learning Operations Administrator with all SRF activities
  • Sessional planning project management: lead the annual sessional planning project with analysis of staffing for the new timetables, provide information, tools and administrative support to area managers for consultation with existing staff, maintain a live register of educators & session times and liaise the HR and payroll on changes and vacancies
  • Administration management: collect data, provide information and complete applications to secure and acquit funding from Department of Education and Training according to kindergarten funding guidelines
  • Enrolment management and reporting: provide support to the Kindergarten Administrator – Enrolments position to ensure ongoing customer service and responsiveness for Sparkways

About you

  • Several years of experience implementing Early Childhood Education & Care systems and processes
  • Extensive systems management experience including working knowledge of KIM
  • Working knowledge of VECTEA conditions
  • Detail focused and capable of building and adhering to process
  • Exceptional numerical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient with Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Proven track record as a self-starter, capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Reputation as a valued team member working with operational managers, HR / Payroll colleagues, Department of Education and families.
