We are seeking Placement Support Consultants to join our centralised team based at our National Office in Burwood East. This newly established team of talented staff need you to bring your experience and good sense of humour to help build a fantastic team environment for everyone.

You will provide regular support to participants and employers to ensure that eligibility and compliance measures are met, and to ensure employers receive their Government and internal wage subsidies. You will make regular contact with both the Employer and the participant, whilst working collaboratively with your team and internal stakeholders to instigate effective and timely interventions as needed.

About the role

  • Work within a centralised team responsible for jobseeker and employer engagement to promote sustainable employment in partnership with our network of nationally located sites
  • Achieve job placements and sustainable employment outcomes for a caseload of jobseekers
  • Liaise closely with appropriate Eplus team members in relation to job seeker Wage Subsidy eligibility and issues
  • Support the achievement of outcomes by providing advice and support to employers to engage wage subsidies
  • Ensure full compliance with Employment Services Contract by passing internal and external audits, as well as compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Verify complaint documentation and lodge of outcome claims to the Department of Jobs and Small Business
  • Support employers with managing their wage subsidies

About you

  • Good Excel and keyboard skills and confidence with outbound calls
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an outcome-based environment toward high performance results
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills to obtain documentary evidence required for outcomes and wage subsidies
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and resilience to conflicting situations
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with jobseekers, employers, peers, and relevant agencies
  • Attention to detail and compliance focus
  • Proven ability to effectively manage your own time to the achievement of multiple KPI's
  • Previous experience within jobactive and proficiency with ESS web would be a clear advantage

A current Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent is a mandatory requirement for this position. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
