The TRAK (Therapeutic Recovery for Adults and Kids) Forward Program operates and runs in collaboration with partner agencies Anglicare Victoria, Windermere, Drummond Street and Think Grow Connect. TRAK Forward has an aim to promote the recovery of parents and children who have experienced family violence.
It offers, as recommended by the Family Violence Royal Commission; therapeutic interventions for adult and child victims of family violence by using a trauma-informed, phase based treatment framework. Services for women and children include:
In addition, the program works with men who use violence, to be accountable for their behaviour and take steps to become a safe parent, including through links to programs that will address their behaviour.
Work with the family to empower them to manage to take charge of their lives, including connection and positive engagement with their community. Co-ordinate and implement the delivery of high quality services that provides genuine and positive outcomes for victim survivors of family violence.
Provide senior level practice consultation, joint planning and assessment and facilitate coordinated service responses, within a child centred, whole of family framework. To ensure the program is operated in accordance with service and quality standards, program targets, DHHS service agreement, organisational policies and accepted standards of practice.
This position is 1.0 FTE based in the DHHS Inner Gippsland catchment. This position will be dual located at the Anglicare Victoria office in Morwell and at The Salvation Army office in Leongatha, roughly 2 - 3 day split.
The position is required to meet an annual performance target of 41.7.
This position is part of a team constructed of a Team Leader, Therapeutic Specialists and Peer Support workers from Anglicare Victoria and Windermere, and will access services from broker partners Drummond Street, Think Grow Connect and LifeWorks
This position reports the Team Leader - Family Violence, Program Manager - Family Violence.
