If you’re ready to lead with purpose, this could be the stretch opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
You’re committed to the mental health sector and motivated to support people living with mental health conditions. You’re either an experienced leader or ready to step into a leadership role—and your approach is firmly grounded in person-centred practice.
As Client Services Manager (CSM) at Richmond Fellowship ACT, you’ll play a key role in leading a transformational shift, embedding an active support model across eight residential homes. This means coaching staff, modelling best practice, and helping teams move from a ‘care for’ to a ‘support with’ mindset.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee frontline teams and ensure high-quality, person-centred care—while balancing service delivery, workforce performance, and business efficiency in a sector undergoing significant reform.
Because RFACT is a smaller, agile organisation, you’ll gain broad exposure to operations, strategy, and decision-making. With fewer layers between you and the executive team, your ideas will move faster—and the impact of your work will be seen and felt more directly. This role is ideal for someone who wants to influence practice, stay close to the mission, and help shape a culture of growth, accountability, and improvement.
You’ll also contribute to business development. Your background in community or social work will help you identify service gaps and opportunities where RFACT’s values and capabilities can meet emerging needs. Through your work with clients, families, guardians and the NDIA—and by forging strong relationships with other providers and stakeholders—you’ll be well positioned to identify partnership opportunities, co-design initiatives, and contribute to future service models.
RFACT is a purpose-led, Canberra-based organisation that values the people who choose to work there. As a smaller organisation, Richmond Fellowship understands this might not be your final stop—but they’ll invest in you while you’re there. You’ll have real responsibility, exposure to decision-making, and active support from a hands-on leadership team.
