Two Good is a social enterprise which seeks to change the course of vulnerable womens’ lives. Through the creation of beautiful, high-quality food and products, we support, empower and employ women with lived experience of domestic violence, homelessness and complex trauma.
JOB STATEMENT:
This is a hands-on role focused on community engagement, fostering strong relationships with women’s services and shelters to enhance support networks for those we serve. You will play a key role in liaising with referral partners, managing donations, and facilitating opportunities for women to connect with Two Good’s programs.
Additionally, you will support program participants who have become part of the core Two Good team and trainees, ensuring they are guided and empowered throughout their employment journey. Finally, you will foster ongoing engagement with program alumni by coordinating meaningful community events, creating spaces for continued connection, support, and growth.
While your role is pivotal, you won’t do this alone. You’ll collaborate with line managers, and program stakeholders to track progress and provide practical support, helping participants build confidence and skills that lead to long-term employment success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Community Partnerships
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with women’s shelters, community organisations, service managers, and caseworkers in Sydney and across Australia.
- Ensure community partners have a comprehensive understanding of Two Good’s services and identify opportunities for deeper collaboration.
- Strengthen referral pathways to the Work Work employment program by actively engaging caseworkers and frontline services.
- Oversee Two Good’s food and product donation programs, working closely with the kitchen and warehouse teams to ensure relevance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
Graduate and Alumni Program Support
- Provide continuous support for trainees and graduates throughout their employment, using tools like the Employee Assessment Tool (EAT) and formal reviews to monitor progress and offer guidance
- Collaborate with line managers to support program participants and ensure a seamless experience within the workplace.
- Plan and implement exit strategies, including arranging industry placements, to create sustainable employment pipelines for participants. Manage relationships with employment partners, identifying and setting up opportunities for trainees, graduates and alumni.
- Develop systems and activities to foster ongoing connections with program alumni.
- Report monthly to the Senior Manager, providing updates on program progress and outcomes.
- Foster Two Good’s culture by developing positive relationships within the workplace and promoting a collaborative environment.
- Practice and model self-care, promoting overall team and organisational well-being.
- Maintain professional boundaries while upholding trauma-informed practices to ensure a supportive environment.
- Oversee safety policies, procedures, and programs, driving continuous improvement in these areas.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field (e.g., Community Engagement), or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a social enterprise or not-for-profit is an advantage.
- Proficient in client management systems (e.g., CSNet, Infoxchange)
- Confident with general workplace technology (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace) and other relevant systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in trauma-informed care for supporting participants
- Proven leadership with a focus on team growth and fostering a positive culture
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle program challenges
- Skilled in managing projects, ensuring timely completion and achieving milestones as planned
- Empathy & compassion to support participants while maintaining professional boundaries.
