The Project Manager (Anti-Racism) plays a vital role in advancing the University of Melbourne’s commitment to anti-racism and fostering an inclusive environment for culturally diverse students and staff. Reporting to the Director (Diversity & Inclusion), this role manages the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the University's Anti-Racism Action Plan. Collaboration with various stakeholders is key to this role's success.
To excel in this position, you should have experience leading complex projects from inception to completion, possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and have an understanding of anti-racism principles.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with success implementing and managing diversity and inclusion initiatives. You will have demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including risk management, and sophisticated stakeholder engagement expertise to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to tailor effective and impactful communications will be vital to the role.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
