Recipients will be awarded accommodation, an allowance, and financial and personal support.

About the Role

As the Senior Scholarship Officer, you will support the delivery of the Hansen Scholarship and contribute to other strategic scholarship programs. You will get to work with a high degree of independence with both academic and professional staff across the University.

In a typical week at work, you may:

  • Administrate University scholarship programs, including promotion of scholarship opportunities, management of applications and enquiries, and support the selection and nomination processes
  • Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of practices and processes based on analysis and feedback working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that they are meaningfully able to inform business improvements
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the broader Scholarships team (SASS) in the administration of other student awards offered by the University and contribute to the team's achievement of agreed service levels, standards and reporting requirements through forward planning

About You

You will be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring a positive and proactive attitude to the Scholarships team and will have strong interpersonal skills that will see you build productive relationships across a range organisational boundaries. Your advanced communication skills and your ability to convey complex matters clearly and concisely will set you up for success in this role.

Ideally, you will further have:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service, anticipate the needs of others, and exercise tact, judgement and discretion when working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
