Unions NSW is excited to receive a 1year grant from the Australian Government to collaborate with organisations to increase Gender Equity in workplaces.

Essential Criteria
Skill and Competencies:
- Capacity to prioritise work, exercise judgement, and initiative while providing high-level support.
- Well-developed information technology skills with proven competence in the application of Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of organisational skills.
- High level of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proactive and self-directed while also working as a positive team member.
- A clear understanding and commitment to trade union principles.
Desirable Criteria:
- Bilingual / multilingual
- Experience with Union or progressive organisations
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
Conditions and Entitlements
- Personal Leave: 10 days per annum (accumulative)
- Annual Leave: 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading inclusive of the 12 month project
- Superannuation: SG employer contributions, plus an extra 2% for female-identifying staff.
- Parental Leave: 52 weeks leave including 22 weeks paid parental leave or 4 weeks paid parental leave non-primary carer
- Family and Domestic Violence Leave: 20 days
