Unions NSW is excited to receive a 1 year grant from the Australian Government to collaborate with organisations to increase Gender Equity in workplaces.

Essential Criteria
- Experience in adult education,
- High level knowledge and experience in gender equality, gendered violence and a detailed knowledge of gender harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
- Capacity to prioritise work and exercise judgement.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A clear understanding and commitment to trade union principles.
Desirable Criteria
- Bilingual/multilingual
- Experience with Union or progressive organisations
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
Conditions and Entitlements
- Personal Leave: 10 days per annum (accumulative)
- Annual Leave: 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading inclusive of the 12 month project
- Superannuation: SG employer contributions, plus an extra 2% for female-identifying staff.
- Parental Leave: 52 weeks leave including 22 weeks paid parental leave or 4 weeks paid parental leave for the non-primary carer
- Family and Domestic Violence Leave: 20 days
Salary will be subject to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
