Role Purpose:

As a Business Process Analyst, you will be tasked with documenting the end-to-end activities of the Revenue and Receivables team. This involves liaising and partnering with team members, including those from broader Finance and IT, to understand business needs and operational pain points. Your role is critical in informing the new Billing system by identifying opportunities for streamlining and reducing redundant tasks/activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed documentation of end-to-end work instructions/standard operating procedures for staff training.
  • Identification of pain points and process optimisation opportunities.
  • Understanding and documentation of interdependencies across the Revenue and Receivables Team, including those with the broader Finance team.
  • Creation of process maps where required across Revenue and Receivables processes.

Your Role:

  • Analyse business problems comprehensively, considering processes, data, and people factors.
  • Translate daily tasks and activities into detailed work instructions for staff training.
  • Facilitate discussions with individuals to gather input, capture pain points, and refine requirements.
  • Cultivate trust with stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure a customer-centric approach is adopted throughout the documentation lifecycle.
  • Continuously develop skills and adaptability, driving project and personal growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications: Bachelor's qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Experience: We seek a dynamic individual with 5 or more years of experience, ideally in the Aged Care industry, to join as a Business Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in understanding and documenting detailed work instructions and process mapping where needed. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders. Being organised and paying meticulous attention to detail are key attributes in documenting and refining requirements. This role encourages personal skill development, adaptability, and thriving within a fast-paced environment. Building and nurturing relationships across teams will be vital to foster collaboration and drive success.

Prior experience as a Business Process Analyst:

  • Proficiency with Visio and work instructions/standard operating procedure manuals.
  • End-to-end business analysis skills spanning data analysis for integration, process definition, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experienced in writing user stories and facilitating meetings/workshops.

Even better:

  • Aged Care experience in Client billing and government claims.
