At Uniting, we are searching for compassionate Laundry Services staff to join our team and provide quality, practical support to residents of our aged care home. You’ll help foster independence, dignity, and comfort, enhancing the daily lives of those in our care.

Your care work may include:

• Processing linen and garments for residents 
• Providing support with other household activities such as catering and cleaning
• Paying attention to personal safety and risk management for you and our residents by using appropriate manual handling techniques or fodd safety
• Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Who we’re looking for

• Ideally, you’ll have previous laundry experience
• Certificate II in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there.
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you'll be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
