About the Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time role working Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm.

Uniting Early Learning Kogarah supports families with education and care, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children from birth to five years. What you’ll be doing in this role

In this role you will be planning nutritious, well presented and appropriate meals and snacks for children (0-5years) whilst adhering to food handling and hygiene practices.

You will be responsible for ensuring various dietary requirements and allergies are accounted for. Working from 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday you will also be responsible for stock control and ordering.

There is also an opportunity for additional working hours to support the team should you also hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.  

Who we’re looking for

  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (essential)
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or Children's Services
  • Preferred Experience in meal preparation for the Early Child Care setting.
  • Flexibility required for all areas (E.g. Menu adjustments and work hours)
  • A team-player attitude, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management
