About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Coordinator to join our team as Nominated Supervisor at Uniting Engadine OSHC on a full time permanent basis. 

The Uniting Engadine OSHC operates Before and After School Care and Vacation Care.

As a specialist in Outside of School Hours Care and having a strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards and “My Time Our Place” framework, you will build a strong community culture in the centre and school, liaising with parents and developing staff.

Your work may include:

  • Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
  • Provide consistent and visible leadership in WH&S behaviours and actions within the team.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation and improvements to the service
  • Commitment to providing and maintaining a safe and supportive work environment that is inclusive of all staff !

Who we’re looking for

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services and/or OSHC Services
  • Excellent knowledge of the NQS and My Time Our Place Framework
  • Previous OSHC leadership experience as a Coordinator
  • Approved child protection clearance
  • Demonstrates an understanding of governance principles and able to model best practice
  • Able to establish, foster and nurture collaborative partnerships with families and our local communities
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusive practice
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
