About the Opportunity

Uniting Grantham Heights Early Learning Seven Hills supports families with education and childcare, including a preschool program and our innovative Bush Kindy. We are open long hours for children from three to five years.

Housed within the grounds of the Grantham Heights Uniting Church, our service offers bright, colourful and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments that are designed to engage and inspire.

This is a part time contract opportunity till September 2023 to assist with inclusion support working 25hours per week!

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Certificate III Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework! 

Your work may include:

  • Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
  • Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes 

Who we’re looking for

  • Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous inclusion support experience (preferred)
  • Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
  • A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard)
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
