At Burwood Preschool, we help children to develop a life-long love of learning and pave the way for the children's ongoing literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and language development that will ease their transition to ‘big school’, and far beyond.

Burwood PreSchool is a service approved for 40 children. 

This is a great opportunity for passionate and engaging Certificate III Educators to join our team on a casual basis!

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Cert III Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework! 

Your care work may include:

• Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
• Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
• Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
• Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes  

Who we’re looking for

• Certificate III in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working in an early learning service.
• Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
