About the Role

As the Head of Strategic Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition at Uniting, you will be instrumental in shaping our future. Reporting directly to the Chief People and Strategy Officer, you will be responsible for the development, management, and execution of our workforce strategy and recruitment initiatives. Your leadership will drive programs aimed at ensuring the effective delivery of our services, which are vital for fulfilling our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee workforce planning systems and transitioning to new platforms
  • Enhance workforce capabilities through strategic planning and digital innovation
  • Develop recruitment strategies tailored to unique service line requirements
  • Cultivate talent pipelines through various initiatives and partnerships
  • Manage external service provider partnerships and vendor relationships
  • Lead recruitment activities and optimising costs while maintaining service standards
  • Review and assess recruitment processes and technologies regularly.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment within the team

About You

As a member of Uniting, you'll champion diversity and inclusivity, embodying our values in all aspects of your work. To excel in this role, you'll possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Eight or more years of experience in a similar role, including managing large teams
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Expertise in workforce planning, digital solutions, and recruitment strategies
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
  • A passion for social change and making a difference in the community
