Elizabeth Gates is a welcoming aged care home in an intimate community of 35 residents and is nestled in the peaceful rural township of Singleton in the Hunter Valley region.
Alroy House has two separate households, each with between 24 and 25 residents, including a secure Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Our Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.
Our Uniting Household Model of Care empowers our residential care teams with the freedom to support residents in ways that help them maintain a sense of meaning and purpose in their day.
Care Worker teams in each of our households are led by a team leadership role that we call a Homemaker at Uniting.
As a Homemaker, you’ll be responsible for supervising the smooth operations of a household. You’ll allocate work to team members based on resident choices and work to promote a cohesive and harmonious work environment.
