About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as an HR Specialist and play a pivotal role in the Uniting People Experience Transformation Program. Reporting to the People Capability Transformation Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping and documenting the key components of our target People Experience Operating Model and establishing the governance of our job architecture framework.
This is more than just a system upgrade; it's a transformation that will enhance how we support our employees and deliver exceptional care to our community.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimise HR-related operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and organise job and organisational structure data to inform reporting and talent management practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and document best practices for HR operations and shared services.
- Collaboration with the Change and Transformation team to develop effective change management strategies to support transitioning to the new models/frameworks.
- Collaborate with the People Capability Transformation Lead to develop and document the People Experience Operating Model and related processes and artefacts.
- Support project teams by managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and contributing to team meetings and discussions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in HR operational process design.
- Strong experience working with HR data, particularly job and organisational structure data.
- Proven track record as a proactive problem solver and creative thinker.
- Project management experience, with the ability to work efficiently in a project team environment.
- HRIS experience is essential; implementation experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in HR operations or shared services is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Excellent skills using MS Office, in particular Excel and SharePoint

- Skill in asking insightful questions, actively listening, and capturing responses to inform optimal design and decision-making.
- Translate technical HRIS information into easily understood messaging for various audiences.
- Ensure accurate spelling, language, and naming conventions in job architecture information; adapt language for process documents to ensure clarity.
- Thorough concern for all areas involved in a task, monitoring and checking work meticulously.
- Ability to manage and analyse people data to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and insights.
- Self-manage time to meet program deadlines, communicate obstacles promptly, and suggest improvements.
- Build productive, respectful relationships with stakeholders and program colleagues.
