Role Overview
The Operations Manager oversees a portfolio of services, and supporting teams to deliver high quality, evidence-based programs and services for consumers. This role is responsible for contract management, performance and reporting, stakeholder engagement, and operational implementation of each of the clinical services within the portfolio. In addition, the Operations Manager contributes to the strategic direction of the portfolio by leading and supporting initiatives to increase effectiveness and efficiency of services and ensuring best care for clients.
As Operations manager, your duties include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the General Manager and service team to operationalise program contracts to ensure the service meets delivery standards, contractual obligations and key performance indicators.
- Manage service budgets ensuring they align with funding arrangements, monitoring expenditure to ensure equity and appropriate use of funds.
- Develop and monitor annual work plans and progress reports.
- Ensure service delivery expectations are met, including resolution of any client, staff or program issues.
- Ensure Managers are driving a high-performance culture, adhering to all funding contractual obligations and service delivery expectations.
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker).
- Full membership with AHPRA or an appropriate professional body.
- Working towards, or completion of a management qualification or equivalent and relevant to the field of work.
- Typically requiring eight (8) or more years’ of experience, including two (2) or more years’ experience supervising a team of specialists.
- Extensive experience in community mental health services, government or non-government sectors.
- Capacity to allocate resources, set priorities and ensure budgets are met within the services to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Ability to lead a team in a strategic direction and vision of the leadership team and Uniting.
- Proven ability to critically analyse available data and activity reports with senior leadership to guide service delivery.
