This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 21 hours /week and will be based at Newpin Port Kembla
MUST be available to work Wednesday – Friday.
We’re looking for a supportive and adaptable Play Facilitator to join our Newpin team in Port Kembla! You will provide therapeutic play opportunities to help families referred for child restoration. Working in our purpose-built family playroom, you’ll support parents and children to build attachment, self-regulation, and emotional development through play.
The Newpin program specialises in supporting parents to work towards having their children safely returned to their care.
Appropriate cultural knowledge and understanding of First Nations history, challenges and protocols is important to deliver effectively in this role. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
