At Uniting, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of care and services to older people. We're looking for a passionate and skilled Practice Specialist in Wound Prevention and Management to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing expert consulting and advisory services to our Service Delivery teams, ensuring we uphold the best practices in pressure injury prevention and wound care management.
You’ll partner closely with our service delivery teams to design, implement, and lead evidence-based wound management frameworks, promoting person-centred approaches to care. This role also encompasses coaching, policy and practice improvement, and the integration of virtual technologies to enhance wound care outcomes. You’ll be instrumental in advancing staff capability in wound prevention and care while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
