Role Purpose

As a Scrum Master you will play a key role in ensuring projects achieve desired benefits. You will do this by leading and managing the implementation of projects and working closely with Program Managers, Project Owners and SME’s.

This role will focus on implementing new systems and changes to systems. The right candidate will have extensive experience in a similar position in which you have been responsible for implementing system, data, security and process changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide delivery leadership for the projects you are part of.
  • Provide analysis of relevant research and operational information and assist managers to evaluate and integration the information they receive.
  • Providing a collection of relevant data to assist with budgeting, the operation of the team and production of regular reports.
  • Manage project budget of up to $5m.
  • Share best practices/learning across the Project delivery portfolio to continually enhance the project delivery framework.
  • Define detailed change impact assessments for data, system and application functions. 
  • Contribute to ensure the project is delivered on time, and of a high standard/quality
  • Engage effectively with the Change Lead and Program Manager for relevant change management activities

Qualifications and Experience

This is a lead role, typically requiring 8 or more years’ experience, as well as:

  • 5+ Years of Agile project delivery experience whilst acting as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
  • Extensive experience organising and facilitating sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, demos and other Agile/Scrum related ceremonies.
  • Agile experience that has preferably been gained whilst working for various large scale, complex client environments across mixed industries.
  • Facilitate the backlog grooming, planning session and guide the team through Agile journey in Uniting.
  • The ability to actively listen, establish and maintain strong working relationships, and the ability to influence others to move towards a common vision.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

Even better

  • Experience with SAFE Agile methodologies is highly desirable
  • Agile Certification.
  • Foster delivery discipline and transparency by leveraging Project management tools like JIRA etc.
  • Experience in effective use of the suite of Office365 tools and their implementation across diverse business scenarios.
