Role Purpose

The Senior CRM Business Analyst is a crucial role within the internal Customer Relationship team, playing a key part in working with stakeholders to identify current business process models, business requirements, integration points and areas of improvement.

Keeping the business needs at heart, you will seek opportunities to leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 to meet evolving business needs and will assist internal stakeholders to appreciate how Microsoft CRM Dynamics could be best utilised to advance Uniting business operations.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior CRM Business Analyst, your primary purpose is to understand the business and data requirements to enable the continued deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Work with your colleagues to understand and apply Business Stream strategies through your plans, thereby ensuring a consistency in service delivery, practice and maximising performance
  • Utilise your strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics to Analyse and understand functionality to help stakeholders make key business decisions
  • Produce high quality requirements and functional design documentation
  • Apply your analytical skills in capturing, documenting and interpreting business and data requirements
  • Develop “to be” business process documentation and identify areas for improvement and optimisation
  • Work closely with a range of people, including developers and testers during project build and test phases
  • Work in an agile software environment with an emphasis on “getting stuff done”

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally you will possess 5+ years’ experience working as a Business, Functional or Test Analyst with exposure to Agile implementations and good functional knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 or other CRM.

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business OR relevant professional experience
  • Operate with personal integrity and a values base that aligns with Uniting’s
  • Technical BA experience with data skills highly regarded
  • Good functional knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 or other CRM
  • Strong functional leadership and demonstration of industry best practice
  • Proven analytical and documentation skills to ensure high quality documentation and requirements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills – ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other team members and customers
  • You manage projects and juggle tasks to ensure delivery against objectives
  • Time management skills and ability to set priorities, plan and organise – you are highly structured with an eye for detail and take pride in "on-time, every-time" delivery
  • Experience in creation of user stories, business requirements analysis and functional design
  • Strong business / client engagement skills to gather information including interview and workshop facilitation skills with the business

  • Experience working in the not for profit sector.
