Role purpose
As a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer, you will be instrumental in optimising our digital customer experience. Your role will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring a seamless transition to our target state for digital experiences. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your generalist expertise in UX design, customer experience, and technology to drive efficiency and enhance our overall digital function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise business requirements related to Digital Customer Experience design. Facilitate Design Thinking workshops to elicit requirements, brainstorm, co-design, and prioritise solutions.
- Develop personas, journey maps, and design principles. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, data flows, and business logic to support process optimisation.
- Plan and conduct user research to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences. Facilitate usability testing to validate design concepts and gather feedback.
- Assist in driving RFP & SI selection, develop design discovery and implementation plans, and support solution roadmaps and feature backlogs.
- Collaborate with the change management team to ensure a smooth transition during implementation phases.
- Work closely with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to integrate UX design into the development lifecycle.
- Oversee the creation of prototypes and wireframes to visualise and communicate design concepts, ensuring alignment with user needs and stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of UX processes, design decisions, and user research findings. Provide regular reports on UX performance metrics and usability testing outcomes.
- Communicate UX strategies, best practices, and project updates to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to help complete project tasks and produce deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, focusing on Customer Experience, UX design, and CRM/power portals.
- Experience in the aged care industry and technology transformation, including data flow mapping and integrations.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle customer portal design and implementations, with a preference for systems like Microsoft Dynamics Power portals or Adobe Experience portals.
- Strong understanding of customer experience, billing in aged care, reforms, regulations, and compliance.
- Proficient in using Jira and Confluence.
Even Better If You Have:
- Graduate or postgraduate studies in a related field.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise or transformational projects.
- Agile experience and familiarity with Project Management tools like JIRA.
- Experience with Office365 tools and their implementation across diverse business scenarios.
- Experience in a leadership or project coordination role.
