We currently have multiple opportunities for permanent part-time support workers to join our overnight respite cottage. This is a permanent part time position; at Corella Cottage you will be given a set fortnightly roster which will include a variety of shifts. This may include day, afternoon, and overnight shifts.

With a focus on providing onsite care for clients on short term stays, your responsibilities can include:

  • Help within the Cottage: housekeeping, grocery shopping or meal preparation
  • Personal Care: personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime or medication administration
  • Transport: appointments
  • Social and wellbeing: accompany clients on group outings and assist with social activities within the Cottage

Qualifications and experience

  • Must have Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual equivalent qualifications
  • Medication competency a must!
  • Similar experience providing client centred care
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
